Jim and Bonnie Healy started making athletic awards and plaques in their basement 38 years ago. This mom and pop operation has grown to national prominence over the years. Healy handles more than 10,000 accounts a year. The company ships thousands of athletic awards and since 1978, football helmet decals, from their office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Though the company has been bought and sold over the years, the Healy name continues to reflect quality products with great customer service.
While the bulk of the business continues to come from high schools, colleges, and corporate customers throughout the country, the list also has grown to include licensed products for
Major League Baseball and the
National Football League. The professional license agreement has allowed Healy to expand its picture plaque line to include the World Series and Super Bowl Team Championship Plaques.
Through the years, Healy has taken pride in adjusting with the times, allowing itself to purchase state-of-the-art equipment for producing its unique products. Recently, Healy has added a line of new products to its traditional product list.
Signs and Record Boards were added to the product line in 2006. These products are a colorful way for schools to display their school pride in the form of a sign or record board. New
Laser Brass and
Laser Acrylic plaques have also been added to the Healy landscape in 2006. These new laser products encompass the new age and look of plaque technology. The combination of innovative ideas and great customer service has made it possible for Healy to move confidently into the future.
