How to Apply Heat Press Side Decals to Guardian Caps – Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Apply Guardian Cap to football helmet.
  2. Power on your heat press equipment.
  3. Set the temperature to 285°F and adjust the pressure to medium to firm.
  4. Cut out the logo you plan to apply.
  5. Remove and discard the clear backing from the logo.
  6. Apply temporary fabric glue to the area where the logo will be placed. Position the logo on the side of the Guardian Cap, ensuring it is straight and properly aligned. Make any necessary adjustments before applying heat.
  7. Apply heat using a handheld heat press at 285°F to gradually heat each portion of the logo.
  8. Press for at least 5 seconds throughout the design, ensuring even adhesion across the entire design.
  9. Carefully peel off and discard the clear application tape while still hot.
  10. Smooth out any areas of the logo that are not fully adhered using the handheld heat press, being careful not to overheat or burn the logo.
  11. Repeat the process for the other side:
    1. Cut out the second logo.
    2. Remove and discard the clear backing.
    3. Align the logo carefully, ensuring it matches the position of the first logo.
    4. Apply heat using the same settings.
    5. Peel off and discard the clear application tape while still hot.
  12. Repeat for any additional Guardian Caps.
